Cone 6: Alabaster is een halfdekkend wit zacht mat glazuur dat breekt over de textuur.

Cone 10: De kleur wordt donkerder tot bont lichtgrijs/paars.

TIP: Wanneer u dit glazuur gebruikt, zult u in staat zijn om de kenmerken van de klei lichaam op te pikken als gevolg van de witte semi-ondoorzichtige afwerking. Combineert heel goed met 2 laagjes stroke en coat on top. Het heeft een satijnen afwerking. Als u houdt van combinaties met zeezout, krijgt u vergelijkbare resultaten met Alabaster minus de kristallen.

Steengoed matte glazuren variëren van effen tinten tot tinten die interessante kleurvariaties creëren als ze bewegen en breken. Een dunne laag is de sleutel om matte glazuren voor u te laten werken.

Cone 6: Alabaster is a semi-opaque white soft matte glaze that breaks over texture.

Cone 10: Color darkens to variegated light gray/purple.

TIP: When using this glaze, you will be able to pick up the characteristics of the clay body due to it’s white semi opaque finish. Combos really well with 2 coats of stroke and coat on top. It has a satin finish. If you like combos with Sea Salt, you will get similar results with Alabaster minus the crystals.

Stoneware matte glazes range from solid shades to those that create interesting color variations as they move and break. Application thinkness is the key to making mattes work for you.
