De onderglazuren van mayco zijn er in veel verschillende heldere kleuren die zowel in een ontwerp als op een volledig werkstuk erg mooi zijn! De onderglazuren zijn direct aan te brengen op de klei of op reeds gebakken werk (biscuit).
De stooktemperatuur is variërend vanaf 1000°C tot 1300°C
De onderglazuren van mayco zijn mat.
Cone 06 oxidatie: Olive brandt mat zonder toevoeging van een helder glazuur. Om de kleur te intensiveren of voor gebruik op servies, blank of mat glazuur aanbrengen.
Cone 6 oxidatie: Kleur wordt iets lichter. Aanbevolen helder glazuur is SW-004 Zinc Free Clear.
Cone 10 reductie: Kleurconcentratie treedt op. Aanbevolen blank glazuur is SW-004 Zinc-Free Clear.

Mayco’s underglazes come in many different bright colors that are very beautiful both in a design and on an entire piece of work! The underglazes can be applied directly to the clay or on already fired work
The firing temperature varies from 1000°C to 1300°C.
Mayco’s underglazes are matte.
Cone 06 oxidation: Olive will fire matte without addition of a clear glaze. To intensify color or for use on dinnerware, apply clear or matte clear glaze.
Cone 6 oxidation: Color slightly lightens. Recommended clear glaze is SW-004 Zinc Free Clear.
Cone 10 reduction: Color concentration occurs. Recommended clear glaze is SW-004 Zinc-Free Clear.
